I think I’m just going to stop commenting on how belated all of my posts have been recently, because I’m having a bit of a hard time keeping up with my blog. Hopefully this will get better soon, but honestly, I just don’t want to pressure myself too much.
Since we’re now in October, that means we’re over three quarters of the year in. After the first three months, I shared my First Quarter Stats & Favourites. Then halfway through the year, I did the Mid-Year Book Freakout Tag 2020. In this post, I want to share my favourite reads of the third quarter of the year, so my favourite books I read during July, August and September.
Stats
At the end of September, my total amount of books read was 270. I’m aiming for 366 in total, so one book a day, and I’m fairly sure I’ll be able to manage that.
Top 5 Reads
My top 5 reads of July-September are:
- V.E. Schwab – The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
- Aiden Thomas – Cemetery Boys
- Alice Oseman – Loveless
- Kat Cho – Wicked Fox
- Amparo Ortiz – Blazewrath Games
Most Anticipated Releases October-December
My top 5 most anticipated releases for the rest of the year are:
- A.J. Sass – Ana on the Edge
- Anna Meriano – This Is How We Fly
- Jessica Jung – Shine
- Chloe Gong – These Violent Delights
- Vitor Martins – Here the Whole Time
What are your favourite reads of the year so far?

Loveless is def one of my fave reads of the year, and I also read the Murder Most Unladylike series by Robin Stevens through audio for the first time and I loved them all! They really helped at the start of lockdown
