After participating in 12 Days of Queermas (you can find my wrap-up here), I’m ending the year by participating in another readathon: End of Yearathon, hosted by Vicky from @ What Vicky Read and Amanda @ Classy X Book Reviews.
This readathon takes place from today (December 26th) until December 31st, and I feel like it’s just what I need to wrap up the year! I made a TBR for this readathon based on the 5 prompts.
TBR
Read a 2020 release
I’ve already read quite a lot of 2020 releases, but I feel like I’m really missing out because I haven’t read Boy Queen by George Lester yet. So that’s what I’ll be reading for the first prompt!

Read a book written by a BIPOC author
Out of the books I have on my physical TBR, which is what I’ll be reading from for this readathon, Love Is a Revolution by Renée Watson is highest on my priority list, because it’s a review copy and the book comes out in February. And also because I’m very excited about it – I’ve loved Renée Watson’s books that I’ve read!

Read your most recently acquired book (borrowed, bought, gifted, etc.)
For this prompt, I wanted to go with the book that I was gifted in the Secret Santa gift exchange I did with a few friends! I was gifted Heartbreak Boys by Simon James Green, which I’m so excited to read! I loved Alex in Wonderland – it was hilarious – so I can’t wait to read this one.

Read a book with a star on the cover
Incidentally, I have a book with an entire galaxy on the cover on my December TBR: Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers. I absolutely adore this series and I’m also extra motivated to read this because I have an eARC of the sequel, The Galaxy, and the Ground Within.

Read a book from a series you’ve already started, but haven’t finished
I chose two books for this prompt, namely the last two Trials of Apollo books by Rick Riordan: The Tyrant’s Tomb and The Tower of Nero. I’m rereading book 3 as I’m writing this!

So all in all, I’m hoping to read 6 books in 6 days, which is my normal reading speed, so I should be able to manage!
What are you hoping to read before the end of the year?

Boy Queen looks like so much fun, and I have some Becky Chambers catching up to do.
