Most Anticipated Releases of February

Hi there!

The year has already started off pretty amazing with a lot of great book releases, but there are also plenty of February releases I’m really looking forward to. I’ll take you through some of them. Of course some of them have already been released, since I’m posting this pretty late, but I hope you’ll still find some books you might be interested to read!

HEARTSTOPPER! ❤

Can you tell I’m excited? Even if I’ve already read Alice Oseman’s webcomic multiple times, and own the physical Kickstarter copy, I’m really hyped about the release of Heartstopper vol. 1! There will only be minor changes, but I still preordered a copy. Now that it’s out, I’m going to be counting down to July, which is when the physical copy of vol. 2 is set to come out! I can only urge you to read this comic, because it’s impossible not to fall in love with it!

If you’re interested to read this, keep an eye on my Twitter account, because I’ll be hosting a giveaway for it soon!

On the Come Up – Angie Thomas

After the massive success of The Hate U Give, which is arguably one of the most important YA books ever, I’m really curious about Angie Thomas’ next book! I preordered a signed edition from Barnes & Noble, and after watching the THUG movie two weeks ago, I’m even more excited for this release.

The Kingdom of Copper – S.A. Chakraborty

The City of Brass was one of my favourite reads of 2017, so I’ve been anticipating its sequel for a long time now. And I can hardly believe it’s finally (almost) here!! I’m hoping to reread The City of Brass this month, so that I can read The Kingdom of Copper soon after it’s released.

Fierce Fragile Hearts – Sara Barnard

Having loved all three of Sara Barnard’s YA contemporary novels, I’m really excited about her writing a companion novel to my favourite of hers: Beautiful Broken Things. I can’t wait to revisit these characters and their stories. My preorder already arrived, so I’ll hopefully read it soon!

Warrior of the Wild – Tricia Levenseller

Since I devoured Daughter of the Pirate King and Daughter of the Siren Queen, which were really fast, enjoyable reads, I’m definitely going to pick up Tricia Levenseller’s next book!

What books are you looking forward to this month? Do you have any recommendations?
